University of Lübeck Formaldehyde Reduction at the Institute for Anatomy- Central Cooling Generation

Excessive concentrations of formaldehyde were detected. To stop this, a partial air conditioned air supply was applied to the entire area through a ventilation ceiling. Emission concerns were also addressed with air technology. The entire area is completely monitored with fire alarm technology. A central cooling system with its own transformer station was built for the institute due to extra cooling needs. In order to avoid disturbing studies, the work took place during the holidays.
