NATO airfield Jagel – new UAV Hall
On the NATO property in Schleswig-Jagel we will be constructing a maintenance and repair hall, which will house a newly procured unmanned air vehicle (UAV) of the German military.
This measure was granted for the planning of technical building equipment and electrical equipment. The building is divided into two areas. One with the maintenance wing (hangar) in which the aircraft will be housed and supplied with the appropriate media, as well as the workshop and office area. In the office area, the aircraft’s missions will be administratively planned. Additional measures, such as renewal of the Z-line (route of the aircraft) and construction of the storage surfaces MCE (Mission Control Element) and LRE (launch and recovery element) will be performed. Specific designs and necessary services have in part been incorporated across the measure within the design of the UAV Hall.
