Mussum is  developed with many detached and semi-detached houses  where the industrial park Bocholt is to be found. It is the largest industrial park in Nordrhein-Westfalen, but the special feature of this industrial area is that you can see an abundance of nature everywhere although the site is in the middle of it.

You can experience lots of green in the 69-acre Bocholt city forest. Well maintained pond plants and a deer park offer a wonderful balance to everyday work.

For cyclists, a veritable paradise is in the city of Bocholt and the surrounding area. In 2005, Bocholt was awarded as the most bike-friendly city in Germany (up to 100,000 inhabitants).
